“Adventures of Power” is Director/Writer/Star Ari Gold’s first feature film. Since 1995, he’s been focusing on short films and doing music on the side. If you love underdog stories, this film is going to impress you. It is packed with comedy, emotional moments, creative characters great plot and more. It’s definitely something you haven’t seen before as far as fictional plots go.
“Adventures of Power” premiered at the 2008 Sundance film Festival and won an Official Selection, along with many other awards around the country among the festival circuit. It’s said to have influenced such films as “The Hangover” and “I Love You Man” after its release. Ari Gold has not released a feature film since this one, but he does have an “Untitled Ari Gold Project” in the works for 2014. Lend this film your eyes, your ears and much more. It may not have the highest production value but more risky and creative projects like this need to be made. There is a lot of junk out there and sometimes pieces of gold will float to the top.
